RUMBLE N THE RAMBLE (RNR) is an event series by Brooklyn DJ, DAIYAH.

DAIYAH exists at the intersection of music, psychology, nightlife, and cultural inquiry. Through her evolving creative universe, DaiyahCore, she approaches artistry as a living archive of sound, ideas, and human experience—a world where techno, academia, mental health, social justice, and radical self-expression coexist.

Originally from Dallas, TX and based in New York City since 2016, DAIYAH is a DJ, producer, promoter, and classically trained musician, whose work is defined by curiosity, depth, and a refusal to remain confined to a single discipline. A classically trained vocalist with over a decade of training, her musical influences stretch far beyond the dance floor, drawing from west coast rap, soul, jazz, metal, experimental noise, and underground electronic music.

After launching her DJ career through two house music residencies in 2017, DAIYAH transitioned to a solo project in 2019 and fully embraced her affinity for techno's darker, more experimental edges. Her sets have since become known for their intensity, unpredictability, and emotional range—moving seamlessly between industrial textures, hypnotic rhythms, moments of tension, and cathartic release. More ritual than performance, her approach transforms dance floors into immersive spaces for collective exploration.

Beyond the booth, DAIYAH is the founder of RNR (Rumble N the Ramble), an event series created to champion thoughtful curation, cohesive lineups, and the transformative power of rave culture. Since its inception, RNR has hosted highly respected underground artists while cultivating a devoted community drawn to intentional and deeply felt club experiences.

Her production work continues to expand this vision. Following her debut EP, MOANING & GROANING, DAIYAH released two full-length albums: Heady, Also F****d, a body-centered exploration of techno, rock, and experimental club music, and Lysergic Cacophony, a sonic document of nightlife experiences refracted through memory, sensation, and altered states. She has also contributed tracks to two compilation releases, further establishing her presence within the broader underground electronic landscape.

Whether through music, events, scholarship, or the growing world of DaiyahCore, DAIYAH's work is guided by a singular pursuit: creating experiences that challenge convention, deepen connection, and invite people into new ways of feeling, thinking, and being.
